What controls emotions? My answer the brain, but then what controls the brain? I believe the soul/ mind to be the conductor of the human. When we have emotions it usually deals with a perception of how someone views a situation, therefore we know our brains control our views and how we think, and since the brain is controlled by the mind, our minds are what control the emotions.

I agree with your thinking. When forced to think about the mind and the brain as separate entities, you must examine the functions of both separately as well. The brain controls your motor skills, bodily actions (including emotions) etc. Where as your mind controls those things that make up you; thoughts, feelings, emotions etc. So the overlap of the functions of the brain and mind enables them to sometimes be thought of as one. Just a thought.
